Make That Spare is Back on TV!

Fans of the iconic Make That Spare TV show can now watch not only the classic version with Johnny Johnson that aired on ABC 50 years ago, but also the new version, the pilot of which can be seen on TVS Sports.Com, one of the 48 channels on the TV4U.Com IPTV network. What a great year for the sport of bowling!

While the popularity of bowling has always been remarkable, seeing the sport return to network television on ABC has also been very heartening. With the fabulous PBA coverage on ESPN, adding ABC back into the mix puts the sport back in the national discussion of major leagues. And then, when you add back the revival of Make That Spare, Celebrity Bowling, and Jackpot Bowling shows by the TVS Television Network, you are really seeing the sport return to its glory years on TV. With TVS (watch on TVS Sports.Com) also producing the PBA Regional and Senior event at the Virgin River Casino in Mesquite, Nevada we can only hope that there will be even more PBA Regional and PBS senior tournaments covered for us bowling fans. And now, we learn that TVS will start television Ladies Pro Bowling and College bowling this year, we are even more enthused!
